...This Lil’ Piggy’s has come to the Ferry Landing in Coronado. November 28th, 2008 marked an exciting day for the Spatafore family of Coronado, with the opening of their fourth restaurant concept in the city.
Lil’ Piggy’s brings all the flavor of a Memphis Style barbecue straight to San Diego. Inspired by a family tour through the most notable BBQ joints in Memphis, the Carolinas, Kansas City and more—Lil’ Piggy’s is a locally-owned concept, offering authentic specialties, blues music, spectacular park and bay views, and 100 varieties of beer to choose from.
This spot is amazing! We stopped by here after the dog beach and ordered some dinner to take home. The guys were super nice and helpful and the food was delicious.
Stopped by for lunch yesterday. The food was amazing and the service was great. We tried the Cali BBQ Pork burrito and the bbq pork tacos. Very flavorful and well dressed. The sauces were great too. A good meal overall and definitely worth the stop. Friendly staff too.
Awesome twist on BBQ. I had the curly fries with pulled pork and queso, very filling. Enough for two people. Porto salad is great! Friendly staff. Definitely coming back!
Excellent service! The female staff who took my order was nice and attentive. She greeted me with a smile as soon as I walked in. Food was superb! Curly fries, baked beans, pulled pork sandwich and ribs were all very delicious! Also, they offer 15% military discount which is a plus.
This BBQ joint was so delicious. My Husband and I just moved from LA to SD and had high hopes of trying a new BBQ spot that we would love. I definitely found my spot, so delicious! The gentleman who took our order was so generous and helpful, he gave us a Military discount and thanked my Husband for his service. We will be returning!
